$MORT

Read this before you buy, hold, or interact with $MORT. $MORT is a meme token. It is not an investment, not a security offered by us, not a fund, and not a promise that you will make money. By acquiring or holding $MORT or interacting with the protocol, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use $MORT.
$MORT is a fixed-supply meme token deployed on Robinhood Chain. It exists for entertainment and community participation. It has no intrinsic value, confers no ownership of any company, entity, or asset, entitles you to no dividends, and represents no claim on us or anyone else. Any character, lore, streak, or "account" associated with Mort is creative fiction.
Nothing on this site, in the protocol, in our channels, or in any $MORT materials is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell anything. We are not your broker, adviser, or fiduciary. Do your own research and consult your own professionals. Any decision you make is yours alone.
A fixed portion of each on-chain trading fee is routed automatically by immutable contract into three uses: buying a community-chosen tokenized stock ("the Stonks portion"), buying back and burning $MORT, and funding the team. The tokenized stock chosen each day is decided by a time-weighted holder vote. There is no administrator who can change these rules, pause them, or withdraw the pooled assets after deployment.
The tokenized stocks the protocol buys are debt securities issued by third parties (currently Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited). They provide economic exposure only to an underlying share or fund. They are not real equity: they confer no ownership, no voting rights, and no direct claim against the underlying company. Their value depends on, and is only ever as good as, the credit and solvency of the issuer.
A portion of each purchase is airdropped to holders and a portion is retained in an on-chain vault ("Mort's Account"). Mort's Account offers no redemption. You have no right to redeem, withdraw, or claim a pro-rata share of its contents, and it publishes no redeemable net asset value. This absence of redemption is deliberate.
The tokenized-stock leg carries the restrictions of the underlying stock tokens. Those tokens may not be offered, sold, or delivered, directly or indirectly, to U.S. persons, and are subject to further restrictions in the United Kingdom, Canada, Switzerland, and other jurisdictions. The stonk airdrop and related benefits are operated accordingly and are not available to restricted persons.
By participating you represent and warrant that: you are of legal age; you are not a restricted person and are not acting for one; your use of $MORT is lawful where you are; and you are solely responsible for complying with the laws, sanctions, and reporting and tax obligations that apply to you.
Crypto assets are volatile and high-risk. You should be prepared to lose the entire amount you spend. In particular:

You use $MORT at your own risk.
You may not use $MORT for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, fraud, or market manipulation, or in any way that violates the laws applicable to you. You are responsible for determining, reporting, and paying any taxes arising from your activity.
Materials about $MORT may describe intended mechanics, roadmap, or aspirations. These are forward-looking and not guarantees; features may change, be delayed, or never ship. Nothing described as a goal should be relied on as a commitment.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the "Last updated" date will reflect the revision. Your continued use of $MORT after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
